Gravity- and Geomagnetism-based 3DCS

Fabric is a material very close to us, and its motion is very interesting.
In order to measure the motion, we develop a cloth-like sheet that measures its own 3D configuration.
With the sheet, you can measure the shape and size of an object with ease.

There is a lattice structure in the 3DCS, and a 6-axis sensor is attached on each link.
The whole shape is estimated using the gravity and the Earth's magnetic field measured by sensors.
